Do you like art? Do you like not paying anything for it? Have I got a deal for you!
Being as it's (dalmatian) December, and the end of another (craptacular) year, I want to have a contest! The rules are simple and take a little effort but it'll be worth it (I think).
There will be a total of three, count 'em THREE winners! Each will receive a full-body colored portrait with a simple background of their character from li'l ol' me! (Example of a simplistic-type backgroundhttp://www.furaffinity.net/view/4877624) You can see a wide range of examples in my gallery of course.
What do you have to do? Draw something! This contest is all about personal art. That's right, you get to draw something for yourself! Draw an image that sums up where you are at in life right now. Get a new pet? A new loved one? Lose someone close to you? Draw it out! The two pieces of art that I feel capture the best sense of emotion, happy or sad, will each get a picture. I will be picking a third entrant at random, so even if you feel your piece is not as great as someone else's you still have a fair chance of winning!! THIS IS NOT A CONTEST OF SKILL ALONE! Please remember the judging will be taking into account how well the emotions are portrayed, not necessarily how straight your lines are or how much it looks like a wolf/cat/rat/eagle. Poetry, song, and stories are also welcome, but it does have to be NEW art, not something you've already drawn/created.
This contest will run until December 30th and I will pick the winners on New Year's Eve.
