What do I want for Christmas?

Before I get a lot of really cute and silly sexy answers, I should probably mention that I'm being completely serious. Non-furry friends and family have asked me what I would like and I have no clue. Now that I have a decent job, I can pretty-much buy anything I want for under a hundred bucks without too much hesitation, and obviously I can't ask for anything too-too expensive....

So if you have any ideas, I'd love to hear 'em. O.O

I have the same problem! D8 I have absolutely no clue what I want them to get me. I say "Just give me money." constantly, but they just whine and say "That's a boring Christmas." I tell 'em so what... And yet they still whine.

And now on a silly, lighthearted note: Schoolgirl outfit. :3

Because I've already bought those things.... and asking for repeat-expenses like groceries & little odds like TV cables usually doesn't go over well either. :/

Gift cards, then you can pick something out yourself.

Alternately if you want to give them specific ideas is there maybe a DVD box set or something you've thought about? Think of something that would be kinda cool to have, but that you can't justify the cost of buying it for yourself.

What do you get for someone who has everything? I'm damn near impossible to shop for, myself. You could always just ask for DVDs/CDs/Books/Computer media.

I second the Gift card thing. Maybe for some of your favorite restraunts... or online music store... Ore an upgrade to the Epic 4G!!!

Third on the gift card idea. Lots of places offer giftcards/gift certificates now.

Only other idea that I could come up with might be something nice for the home. A nice throw blanket, scented candles, things like that maybe?

Me, I'm using my Christmabirthday (roughly two weeks apart) wishlist for the purpose of building a buggout/emergency bag, with various types of camping gear and emergency supplies and ammunition and whatnot. Some games, music, and gizmo's also made the list.

Doesn't having a December birthday SUCK?! I've always been cheated. "You'll get you big gift at Christmas." Not fair! If I was born in July I'd get full gifts for both!

Nah, mine's in January. 2 weeks AFTER, not before. I've heard that happens to people though, but I can use it that if I want something bigger than would normally be allowed I can get it as a combined christmabirthday gift. It's good to have it after the after-christmas sales.

You got lucky. I'm 2 weeks before Christmas. Tomorrow, in fact. I'd always wind up with one big gift the likes of which my siblings would get at both Christmas & their birthday. Ah, well. I get my own now.

Given your nature, perhaps a day at the spa? There's not a lot of low cost items you can get the older you are.. Gift cards would be a good idea for a lot of geeky tech stores and the like, perhaps at bed, bath, and beyond as well?

One of the things I asked for a few years back that got a nice response from family & isn't that expensive was a framable photo of them or their family. Often a huge gap will go by that I have no record of someone. I have a pic of them at a family reunion or such - next shot may be 10 years later. It makes them feel good that you'd ask for something OF them.

Why not ask for some silly fun stuff that you'd never buy yourself, but can be used in costumes, like silly Christmas hats? Or other things you can have fun with, like board games?

hmm... I actually kinda did exactly what you said - the first part, anyway. I asked 'em for some stuff for Frozen Oasis. As for board games... I know there are a lot of good ones out there, and I do enjoy them, I really only play board games at cons...
