So I notice a lot of people doing the "Im leaving FA forever cuz of zoophiles and pedos and rapists OH MY"
I understand the discontentment what with the cover ups and all. But there's a reason or two why I keep the smut on my shit to a minimum, a bigger reason why I'm still here.
Lets consider one thing and a few others. Harboring the cover up of any said party is indeed very disturbing. But it's also not until some other individual drags this out into the light of day that we get all up in a "tizzy" over it. The rapist in questions business was handled poorly, not specifically by the site, much deeper than that my dearies. I am not saying anyone got what they deserved, I am saying in general, that it was handled very very poorly. But, this is something that is handled poorly, off this site, in far greater a number as well. Even then, it is not without its own cover up. These things happen politically, not just in the states either. If you want to jump continents or countries based on what you're jumping here, please, be my guest. The simple fact here, is you're upset now because you have direct info, to the source. It is shameful, it is disgusting, but this is sadly a small part of a larger world we all live in. Deal with it, or don't. Your choice. I will respect that choice, if you will respect mine.
Another thing to consider, warning zoophiles to kick their content if they don't want to get caught. Okay, yeah, that is pretty shady. On the other hand, that sort of shit can get the entire site locked down, removed, done, over with. Yeah, I see that FA is being run as a business, when you start an archive website for hosting images and music and opinions, shit starts to cost money, and I don't see the lot of you all spitting out your cash to keep this place going, those of you that do, congratulations. It's like the salvation army in a sense, they're evil fuck heads in my opinion and I don't want shit to do with them, but despite that, they need money to keep going and they somehow get it. You wanted a place to post your art and your rants on things like this, well they cost money. Oh I do fully understand the legal obligations to report these sorts of crimes, man on dog, dog on man. But when the lot of you draw half man half dog with dog dong fucking another furry or in some cases, an illustrated human being. The line starts to get fuzzy on what real ground you have to stand on. I'm just saying. So sure, it was handled badly, but the Vatican still lets the occasional pedo slip under the radar. And trust me, that's a much bigger deal of a cover up than this online shit. Keep that in mind as well. (and for goddsake no I'm not saying what went down was right, fuck!) *edit* Forgot a driving point here about the cash, sponsors for this site will pull themselves if the content puts them in a bad place-that still doesn't mean it was handled properly, but warning those people was the action the admin took to keep the money for this place going, and my bad for not including that bit in this section here.
Those two things aside, the world is full of ugly things. But as I said before, it is not until you have something to blame, something to point your fat little fingers at, that you really give a shit. If this really bothers you, then YOU can be that guy or girl or woman or whatever that takes a mighty righteous stand, and shoves their middle finger firmly into the air and goes to the authorities to report the hateful and disgusting things that go on here, at home, or where ever that nastiness lies. You all make the choice to expose yourself to this information, you all make the choice what you do with it. You choose what to apply morality to, as much as you choose what to ignore and throw out the window. Please do not forget that while I highly disagree with how actions were handled, after I MADE THE CHOICE to look into the knowledge made available, I will be staying, and I again DO NOT SUPPORT THE CHOICES AND ACTIONS MADE BY THE ADMIN. But the outcome is also BEYOND MY CONTROL.
Of it all, the reason why I'm still here? Because there's still a lot of cool people who post, there's a lot of gems I haven't uncovered, and even more so, a lot of art I still have yet to see. Take the bad with the good, even when the bad makes you choke when you swallow.
I will respect any opinion you leave, but I will likely not reply, this journal alone already involves me into drama I'm already disinterested in as of now.

As for me, while I do believe the two situations could've been handled better...however unlike others, I won't be charging all gung-ho, acting like I know everything and loose my sh*t at someone. When one looses their sh*t, they don't make smart choices.

I wish I was right. I feel like we're in a minority. :(
I am also poor and have never donated, but I try to appreciate what I can of the service provided. Even if the people running the place have rather odd moralities. True enough, these things are easily blown way open and awkwardly far beyond what they really are, based on that I think a neutral standpoint is a good thing to have. All I can do is make sure that if I'm starting to be affected negatively by the admin or the users, I will take the appropriate actions I know are necessary- that ought to be good enough for me, them, and everyone else! In the meanwhile, lets keep looking at the fabulous art that comes our way!
So what. people want to get my info? Good luck. i don't send it on notes. Even if I did, what would they do with it.
