MFM A Con Report

Got home yesterday and after catching up on a few things work related I passed out in bed and slept like ten hours. Yeah the con was THAT GOOD!
Some of the highlights:
Floor Chan made it to the ceiling.
A hooker showed up at the lobby thinking she could whore herself out then realized she had no chance at a FURRY con.
did an imitation of Tumbles the Stair Dragon in the lobby Sunday Night
was ... well ... Baka *gnaw*
Alex from RCFM threw a glass of water at me and his someone ELSE ... in the crotch
A few friends and I have formed a furry gang of sorts now aptly named 'The Nut Job's'
FURSUIT GAMES ... Who's brilliant idea was it to have furs in hot costumes play full contact basketball anyway? Blocking by tackle may not have been in the original rules but DAMN that was funny.
Getting to make a fellow Fursuiter blush as we are tickling him by pointing out his SPH zipper.
THE FROZEN OASIS (I think I still have a buzz)
Getting laid twice. Not telling with who. Don't ask. They can speak for themselves. *wink* Here's a hint. They were both tigers.

And soooooooooo many other fun times with too many people to mention here without taking up like pages and pages of space. There were only a few small bad issues all having to do with things I need to do to my Merlot suit. The suit was originally by Ocicat but has very VERY little breathing space through the mouth. So while playing basketball I found myself gulping air. The other is due to a mod that I did in making the chest. NO VENTILATION. No vent in the chest plus no vent in the muzzle was making me sweat alot on the chest and soaking it wet VERY badly. So ... the repair options are as follows:
Chest:
1) Reconstruct the chest with a hard inner core and a soft outer core. On the inner core I can then install CPU fans to blow across my chest and put the battery packs in a cavity I can hollow out.
Good Points: Best ventilation. I will have fresh cool air breezing across my chest at all times and thus reduce the sweating overall.
Bad Points: Electrical system in a location where I WILL sweat no matter how much I try and cool it off. But the chest should stay dry. Also I won't have as soft of a chest as the foam I am currently using. Airport Security.
2) With the current chest I can create a jersey pocket to slide cool packs into the chest that should last a couple of hours at a time. A much easier rebuild and the packs will create a gap between the chest and the fur to keep the sweating down.
Good Points: COLD! Nice and cold. Also I will still keep the soft foam squeezable chest. The cooling will keep the sweating down on the chest and the gap will keep the sweating I DO get from getting into the fur.
Bad Points: No ventilation still in the chest so I will be going through the packs quickly. I will have to keep a cooler in my room to trade them out when needed. That means I may need extra luggage if the hotel does not have a fridge.
Head:
1) Muzzle fan ... I talked to Ocicat and since he built the suit, I can carve the foam out of the muzzle of the suit and replace it with the plastic mesh to keep the stability. That will give me more breathing room and allow me to install a small CPU fan into the muzzle. In looking over the face of the suit I can see that ini the carving it will create a small space at the peak of my cheekbone and allow me to exhale out of the eyes and inhale through the muzzle with the fan blowing in to cool my face.
Good Points: FRESH AIR! Also even on the exhale I will have that beautiful cool air blowing over my face constantly so I won't sweat as much or at least not the dripping down the eyes hot sweating that I am now inside the suit. And if I keep the battery installed in front of the fan, that SHOULD protect it from getting hot breath and sweat on the wiring.
Bad points: If I fuck up ... I fuck the head up.
No other ideas for the head. Would LOVE input.

Oh, that brings back memories of CF4, when the con was sharing the hotel with a group of Amway people, who brought along "Madame Wu's Mobile House of Whoopie."
