There is a fine line between parody and plagiarism. I try and take a word or two or at most one line that would fit in with what I've already written. For example in the song 'Fanboy Furry' I use a full line that reads

I wanna be a fanboy furry
I don't want anyone to line me.
I got no morals that I can see
Cause I wanna be a fanboy furry

To the average person you wouldn't notice that there is a word in that chorus that lines up perfectly with the song. The word Morals. In the actual song that line reads:

Down with the moral majority

It's done so when you sing it, just that word lines up.

Don't let that discourage you though. You've done well, I just prefer to alter my music a bit more than that so you've got the right idea! Keep it up!
