This is the beginning of my Journal.
tracing is that sooner or later, someone's going to find out.
When your art isn't consistent over a period of time, it becomes more obvious. I've referenced before and I'm not going to lie, there are some things I don't know how to draw, but complicated angles like above the head are obvious giveaways if everything else you draw is at eye-level. So what is an artist to do?
In the old days they got those wooden maquettes...but now you can find a free 3D model studio thing and just generate your own shit. Which I think is where my next step is going to be. 3D models as reference, so that my work can be a little more dynamic and a little less...
