Happy New Year 2011

Hope everyone had a good start to their year.
I spent my day being productive (as usual), putting up some custom shelving in my closet and trying really, really hard to finish unpacking from moving. I'm nearly done.
I will be starting to seriously craft very soon (probably next weekend), along with drafting panels to teach at A-Kon (possibly at AnimeFest too, we'll see) and arranging more anime music for performance at AFest. (It's not looking like I'll be able to do it for A-Kon, for several reasons.) I'm not making New Year's resolutions this year; I find little purpose in making 'special' goals when they're no different than my normal goals. 2011, being the Year of the Rabbit, isn't terribly kind to Rats, so I'll be taking it easy this year and teaching myself new skills and knowledge.
Furry Fiesta is in two months! See you all there. If anyone is willing to volunteer for Registration, even for a couple of hours, please email me at registration [at] furryfiesta [dot] org.

I suppose I should ask what helping with set up would entail before saying yes.
Run in with a deer?!
Asurea hit a deer in the beginning of December. He drives a Jeep so the deer took the brunt of it but he is still very sore. And being a total brat about it.
I also have a great example of why not to drink in my mother. She is an alcoholic and she gets nasty and stupid when intoxicated.
