Hey guys. I just wanted to post a journal saying that I really appreciate everyone who enjoys my art. The favs and comments I get, the kind criticism, the fanart... it makes my day better to remember the fanbase I have, and all the people who like my art. :} Without you guys I'd be nothin'. And I'd like to extend a special thanks to the people who have decided to purchase my services for commissions. Without you guys, I would really be nothing! The fact that I can support myself with just my art while going to school is crazy, and would not be possible without your generosity.
Keep on doin' what yer doin', and I'll do my best to keep supplying cool and sexy things for you to look at. :D

Steve Martin's memoir, "Born Standing Up", tells the story of how Martin's career as a stand-up comedian, from working shops at Disneyland to being the biggest-selling concert comic ever at his peak. I like hearing people who have achieved some level of success talk about the process. This was my favorite passage in the book: "The consistent work enhanced my act. I learned a lesson: It was easy to be great. Every entertainer has a night when everything is clicking. These nights are accidental and statistical: Like the lucky cards in poker, you can count on them occurring over time. What was hard was to be good, consistently good, night after night, no matter what the abominable circumstances. "
