Haha, I never understood how people do that! How do you do it? I remember back in my days in the 90's there was a "Gameshark" gadget/pack that would do it.
Is there any different between cheat/hacked pokemon and.. "authentic" ones?

It's the new version of a GameShark (for the DS). :) Most Walmarts sell them for around 20 bucks.

And nope, no difference (atleast not that I've found). I use it for every game since I hate all the new starters, so I like to use the cheats to get myself a level 1 Pokemon from Generation 1 to start with instead. :3

To bad though you won't be able to use them in tournaments. The problem with the cheats is that you have to catch them in a low level Pokemon area, it will say the area you caught them. If that isn't possible for that Pokemon (like Mew) then Nintendo knows that you cheated and you can actually be banned from competing in their tournaments.

I don't do tournaments, so that isn't an issue for me. x3 I just play the games for fun---I don't even really battle lol.

Hmm, if I remember correct, the GameShark transforms already caught Pokemon, right? Or do you still have to catch them? If so, would it be possible for me to trade over one of my lower leveled Pokemon, have you change it up to the correct species and trade it back so that the original owner is still marked down as me in the stats/and I can rename them if I want later, etc?

It does, but it doesn't come with every code, just a few pre-set ones. :O I have to find or make the other codes, so I'd have to find/make a code for a shiny Pokemon before I could get one.

Yeah it;s easy to hack them all now,
You would have to state if you want them hacked or legit,
It's obvious to tell when their hacked in most cases from where their caught on their data,
But if you just want them then in above like what pensive said,
They can be hacked for you.

Pokemon are all caught legit in the area their SOPOSTED to be caught in,
or event pokemon have the event names attached to them and in location,

You look up their nature and area when caught,
Obviously if it says you caught a Lugia where Lugia isnt from,
It;s hacked. :U

and also isnt available int hat low of level in legit terms )

And lugia is an event pokemon or traded off from other verisions.

Nope! Their apparences will be all legit,
no distorted pixels or things like that.

Other people can look up your pokemon info and see their hacked if the info is really bizzare,
Such as if your tradeing or battleing someone else,
( then they can view your pokemon and accuse you of useing non-legit pokemon possible overpowered and makeing a battle unfair )
( aka be a pussy >:Y XD )

Oh cool. I think I once did a hack/something wierd with one of my old games and had some odd image/pixel clashes going on. (Ie: In some cases the profile/battle image would show up as a Mew and other cases it would go back being a Pidgy or etc/original pokemon, haha.)

Hmm, I do know MissingNO! Not sure if MissingNO was one of the hacks to get Pokemon (I remember I used to be able to duplicate a ton of items with MissingNo however, haha).

(I know you don't really have control over this, but I used to keep saving my game constantly and if it hatched and turned out to be a different gender than I wanted, I would just restart the game and return to 5 minutes before it hatched and wait another 5 minutes again for a different outcome, haha.)

I would give you my level 5 mew but I like keeping my legit Pokemon. If i catch a Suicune I will let you know, because I am going to the Pokemon event to get the shiny verision, or I might just try to trade from my old old silver or gold game. I will just need to find a copy of Ruby or Sapphire I think.

I am very, very, very (very) interested in that Mew of yours if you're by any means willing to part with it. Much more than I am in the Vaporeon, haha. Technically I already have a water pokemon on my team (a Whooper, haha) so I don't really need another water pokemon, although Suicune is very tempting too!

Hm, do you have a good suggestion for a flying-type Pokemon? (I was thinking Latias/Latios-- not sure if you have one of those and would be willing to trade?) I'm not familiar with a lot of the new generation pokemons/haven't played pokemon in years. (The last version I owed was probably Crystal, haha.)
I've got so far: fire, electric, water/ground, and psychic covered. I probably just need my last team member to use "fly", but then again, I could probably teach the Mew that? Haha.

Um, my suggestion for a good starter that will obey you is Pidgey and you can catch those easy, but you won't be able to teach it fly till later. If you want I can give you a level 1 Pidgey with Fly. Or I can give you a Spearow which is pretty good for when you are just starting out. Hoothoot is also good because it can learn Hypnosis and Psychic moves without being Psychic which I think is available in both games I don't remember. Pidgey is only heart gold and spearow is only SS.

I don't have Latios/Latias yet and would probably hold onto them unless I had a useless copy game for SS or Heartgold. By useless I mean one that I don't care if I delete to get another of the same Pokemon and just do over again. Which is probably what I am going to do for White and Black when they come out.

But anyway, if you want a low level flyer with Fly I will send you one. You might also get some really great moves if I breed. My favorite flyer of all time though would be Lugia but I don't have SS so you would have to wait to catch that one.
