This time around, I'm not saturating my team with the Big Bad Legendaries. Right now so far I have: a lvl. 36 Whooper, a lvl. 37 Jolteon and lvl. 39 Cyndaquil. At this rate, it seems like I'm destined for a team full of cute little animals.

Naw, it just has a Japanese name and increases the chances of breeding to get a shiny. That's why I have it. I wanna make a whole bunch of eggs and give them out at conventions, and have the eggs have a chance of being shiny for the people who get them :)

You can't trade Eggs. I wish you could but I don't think you can. You can't even deposit an egg into Bill's PC. But yeah, try to find a shiny first and let me know.

I have HeartGold. I just found out that I can put Eggs in the PC (just did so it wouldn't hatch on me while I went to train)

There are alot of eggs that I'd need to hatch to get a shiny one :D (I am a shiny whore, I collect them and have a few extra shinies if you want any of those XD)

The problem with dratini is that is one I'm currently trying to get XD Not sure if I'm dedicated enough to try for two XD
The other ones I have for trade right now is Shinx, Zigzagoon, Starly, and Cubone.

Well there is several ways to get shiny pokemon. I either go chaining for them or I use what is known as the musada method. basically breeding pokemon from two different regions increases your chances of getting a shiny. I use a japanese ditto for my breeding needs :3

If you could get me both a Shiny Wooper and a Shiny Mudkip, I could definitely 1UP a doodle for you or do two, etc. :)

It's alright, haha. I found my legit mew on my FireRed version that I got at some Toys'R'us even years ago, but it's level 60-something, I can't rename it (damn, I hate that they don't let you rename the event-acquired Shinies/Specials; it won't let me rename the new Shiny Entei I got "McBob" either, whhyyy) and don't know how to transfer it over to my SoulSilver.
When did Pokemon become so complicated, haha.

I know everyone likes the Shinx, but I never particularly cared for them. I'm not too much of a "collector", I'm just looking for team members right now (and I can be pretty picky about those!). I did keep a Cubone in my team in a couple of my oldest games. I don't think I need one at this moment right now, but thank you very much for offering!

And i can make them look legit by catching them in their remote area,
and just activateing the shiny code when i run into the spicific pokemon wanted.

Well in the recent PKMN games,
Mew, Lugia, Latias, Are all EVENT or traded by other games, Pokemon.
Dratini i can get and make it look legit,
But i can;t make an event pokemon.

The code only works for Feild area.
Aka an area you can accsess within what game your
useing action replay on.

And i can;t walk to where lugia is legit from in Pearl/Diamond.
So then it would never look legit because of so.

The code just makes whatever mob you can run into
via game YOUR playing,
( so pokemon you can run into in Diamond, )
If i can't encounter the pokemon regularly,
Then i put a code in to make it show up next time
i accsess a pokemon inhabitied area.
It makes all the pomemon you run into, Shiny.

So with that explained you now know how far i can only go with it.
To make Lugia, Mew, Celibi, appear in a game they arnt in without event,
i put in their spicific code to make them show up,
in which in info would never make them look, legit.

By your explanation, you're playing from Diamond version then? I haven't played Diamond/Pearl yet, I didn't know you couldn't access Lugia/Lugia's area in those games.
