I do have to agree with you and Scott Pilgrim. That movie was an absolute BLAST. Loved it <33

I don't really have any choices for television or music, but for best movie I'd have to go with How to Train Your Dragon, mainly because it turned out so much different than the trailers gave it credit. For best game I'd have to go with Battlefield Bad Company 2 because one, I could only play Bioshock 2 for about 15 minutes before it glitched out on me, and two I loved multiplayer, and still do with an expansion they released for a Vietnam version. Some army-type games have charged players for additional maps only, but BC2 released a whole other play style for the same price with different weapons and everything.

Sorry Jaspian, you're awesome, but New Vegas is the goty. I could understand you picking a game like Bad Company 2, SC 2, the new WoW expansion, or a couple other PC games that come to mind, but Bioschock 2? Seriously? That game was absolute crud. The story was mediocre, the levels had worse graphics than its predecessor, the harvesting system was screwed and repetitive, the boss fights depended solely on specialty ammo and not much else, and the ending was completely anticlimatic and far too easy. All in all, I was left wanting so much more after beating Bioshock 2 (mind you, it only took me an evening to beat it and get just about all the single player acheivements without the guide) that I'm not even looking forward to 3.

Well I didn't play Bad Company 2, and I don't play WoW. I'd find it very surprising if WoW would have made it anyway or even been in the running (do expansions count as GOTY contenders? I haven't counted them thus far...)

But Bioshock 2 is my Game of the Year. I thought the story was pretty good, and, at least on my computer, the graphics were fantastic. I was engrossed from beginning to end (except the final battle which was just a horde of baddies while trying to switch levers and stuff -- lame) ... but really other than that, I thought it was spectacular. It was a bit easy, that's true, but so is New Vegas. The only difference is that Bioshock2 is easy and 16 hours long, and New Vegas is easy and 200 hours. I do like big games, (gives you a lot of value for your $) but its possible to be too big, and New Vegas is that IMHO.
