We are all drawn in a certain way by the events and people in our lives. While the background never really changes that much, the appearance and even the nature of our character can change substantially over the course of time, becoming almost unrecognisable compared to an earlier view.

My partner  hazelwolf is an artist, and I think he has a good deal of talent. I would be wrong to say that he was the best artist I have ever seen, but he's certainly far from the worst; I think his grasp of colour, especially, is impressive. He's worked on me, with a loving touch; he smooths out the rough edges, softens my heart, and brings the best aspects of me into focus. He's certainly brought a good deal of colour and light into my life, as well. I hope that, like any creative work, that I reflect the good things in him.

Being with Hazel has stimulated my own creativity exponentially. For the first time in a long while I've been wanting to make music, take photographs, and even work on new ideas like video and digital art, as well as to try my hand at writing prose, something I've not attempted in a great many years.
