dint find it to awfull, thoe it lacked allot of things as proper goal and explenation of whast going on... and yes ther was a lack of inteligence halfway as where is the farmers that start refarma gain to survive? yeah i play to much fallout 1 :P

Cormac McCarthy (author of The Road and Blood Meridian) may be a difficult read if you're not a native English speaker (he's too difficult for most native speakers!). Blood Meridian is one of the two most depressing, disturbing books I've ever read (the other being "The Painted Bird" by Jerzy Kosinski.) Both books could be considered masterful works, but they're both incredibly violent and disturbing, and offer unrelentingly bleak views of humanity.

damn, once I saw the synopsis in Wikipedia. I dont think I'll be able to cope with this one as well. It's even worse horror!
