Drawing Bears...again!

I know I made a journal about drawing bears before. Well, I did a ton of research back then and then, I got busy with something else...can't remember what, though and had to set work on that aside for a while. So, today I decided to take a little break from Katmandu so I could get some solid work done on Hybrid. And, once again I realized that I've got a bear in my crew. So...I just back into bear sketchin'.
I didn't appreciate how unique a structure bears have until I began studying the anatomy. They have got one massive head ^^; They also, unlike a BUNCH of other predators, have lips that move independently of their jaw...much more like an herbivore. ...but, since they're omnivores, I guess that makes sense They've got cute little ears that are way at the top of their heads with their eyes in the middle of said head, but sometimes slightly just below the mid-line of the plain.
They also have a very solid build. Very powerful arms and legs and a sturdy torso. AND...they stand up on two feet ^_^ ...despite that, translating them to anthro while preserving what makes them look bear-like isn't always so easy
But, all that studying I did before must have paid off because it stuck with me and when I sat down to draw today, my Bear...actually looked like a bear!! WOOHOO!! ...especially his little nose *pokes his bear nose* ^________________^
...yeah, I'm still on drugs. Please forgive the kookiness!
Anyhoo, back to drawing!

Frankly I'm wondering what it might look like if your bear and I were to meet... *grins*
But, wheb they're not being aggressive, they are awfully cute
I find bears FREAKIN' hard to draw. I think it's the muzzle to head roundness ratio that throws me. Must go check out your bear ASAP
