So, I've not long come home to a flat that's been broken into. Which is charming.

Some stuff's been stolen, though it's relatively little of mine (my flatmate got hit fairly hard, sadly). We're insured, so we should be able to replace it in due course. Still: it really stings. If you were under the impression that Germany is generally safe and crime-free, well... Offenbach am Main doesn't really conform to that stereotype.

There are plans underway for us to beat a hasty retreat elsewhere: possibly on the other side of Frankfurt, possibly not. We really don't know much, other than we're not exactly safe here.

So yeah. Things are being disrupted, and I don't know when normal service will resume. If you're waiting for art from me, then I apologise - that wait's going to be protracted a bit. Best-laid plans, eh?
