If you'd prefer something a little naughtier or more involved, you can score a high-profile cameo by donating at least $10 on top of your purchase. What role exactly your character will play is up to the writer, but it will definitely be more interesting than a poster.
And, will people know their part in the cameo's when the donate? Or be contacted when their part is decided?

How do you pre-order and donate? Is it just alertpay or can you use paypal or google checkout?

Have you contacted AlertPay's help desk about the gift card? It may be a problem with the card itself and not AlertPay.
