"Shepherd! It's good to see you. Did you see the Quarian Marines who were also trying to save me?"
"Uhm, well... by the time we got here there was only one guy left. He was wounded, under cover with a rocket launcher. He offered to suppress the Geth as the rest of us ran across the courtyard, under fire. It seemed like a good idea at the time..."
"...What happened to him?"
"Apparently 'stay here under cover and lay down suppressing fire' is Quarian for 'jump into the enemy's killing zone and yell.'"

"What really hurts is I got fifteen Renegade points for that."

Yeah, it's the pointless-ness of the whole thing that rankles. And just once, I'd like to meet a quarian Marine who doesn't immediately die.
