That actually was used as the starting point of a half-hour SF radio program.

Really now? I just found that little tid bit on the internet somewhere m and what does SF stand for?

Science fiction.

Okay, how about this one (I can't take credit for it; heard it a few years ago)...

A man checks into an old hotel, and is assigned a room at the end of the hall. The owner warns him not to disturb or try to enter room 105 because it's haunted. He's staying there for several days and has to pass the door room 105 often, which he notices has an old-style keyhole you can peek through. Having become quite curious, he peeks through the keyhole and sees the back of a white ghost in the room. When he later peeks in, he again sees the ghost, this time facing the corner. But the third time he can't see anything except red, as if someone had put a piece of red plastic tape over the other side of the keyhole. Finally he asks the owner about room 105. The owner tells him that indeed room 105 is haunted by a ghost who is all white except his eyes are red.
