But as far as Allure of the Wolf goes... speaking personally, I think the appeal is more to do with Chad as a character than the specific way he consumes the guys in the shower. Well, two points to make.

First, when it comes to writing, I'm not looking for vore, but rather for a good story, and if there's vore in it, that's a perk. If you can come up with an interesting enough scenario, it won't matter what kind of vore is in it; I'll be in it for the story. I don't rightly care what kind of vore you include just as long as its conceivable within the setting and all serves a function; if it reads too much like a Friedberg / Seltzer script, it'll turn me off.

Second, I'm not so picky about how the prey gets inside the predator so much as what happens once they're inside it. I'm personally more of an endosmatophile -- I like safe, non-digesting vore and the like, but once again, since we're talking about writing, anything will pass with me as long as it's well-written and fits within the context of the story.
