A question on image resolution...
I'd like an image to be viewed in it's entirety without having to scroll to see it all but still have it as large as possible. Anyone know what the optimum resolution is? I am gonna look around for the answer I just want to see if anyone else has any advice on the subject that I haven't thought about.

most laptop screen now a day are at 1280x800 base where most widescreen monitor for desktop are now 1440x900. so I'd say make it slightly less than 1280x800, in landscape format.

if you're in control of the site it's on then you could try serving some javascript along with it to detect the user's browser size and scale it to fit!
