Fun times.

The 3rd floor apartment on the right side caught on fire. electrical to be exact. smoke alarms didn't even alert us to any danger. It was the tenant who told all of us. Thank god for her otherwise...FWHOOSH.

within a half hour things were settled down. Also caused me to go on a cleaning spree to clear my room of as much hazardous material as possible. final item on the agenda is a couch I had for at least 4 years. Cushions are gone and the mattress inside taken, yet I held on to the damn thing.
