Yeah, at first I thought it was bombing practice at the firing center or something. Then I heard one that sounded like fireworks. Now it's quiet. Hmm.
The cold air makes sounds travel far, so could it be something at the Fairgrounds?

Kinda soothing...
Only time when it's noisy here is during new year's eve. Lots of fireworks lighted by civilians, along with agonizing screams of "OH GOD MY HANDS AND FACE!".
