Car Crashes Suck >.<

So.... yeah, I was traveling down from Cleveland to Columbus and I ended up getting into a crash. It was raining pretty hard and caused someone to spin around to a stop in the middle of the left lane. Another car and I ended up stopping behind them way after it happened, myself pulling into the left berm completely out of the road. However, the guy that was behind me didn't notice all of this until it was too late and slammed hard into the back of my stopped car. >.< It happened pretty quickly, but enough for me to see it coming and get that "aw fuck" moment. >>
I slammed my head into the steering wheel and ended up bleeding all over. I got carted off to the nearest hospital, they gave me some stitches as well as a cat scan. Beyond being really sore and having a black and blue face I'm doing all right and should be able to recover from it just fine.
I was traveling with a lot of my stuff since I was in the middle of moving from one place to the next, including Flux. Thankfully everything I really cared about, myself, Flux and my laptop were all okay. The car on the other hand... that is completely totaled and I'll have to get another one once insurance get involved.

If someone ever rear ended any of my cars I would come out swinging... I have collectable cars <_<; I first would go "YOU KNOW WHAT THE %#$^q YOU JUST HIT!?" then I would punch them and get taken to jail for assault <_<; I MIGHT have a little road rage...

Either way, that TOTALLY sucks, hope you get better fast, and hope whomever rear ended you has REALLY GOOD insurance. It oughtta be covering your treatment and your car. :)

The "aww fuck" feeling right before really sucks, but in the grand scheme of things, you're alright and the replaceable items are just that, replaceable.

(got hit in the back once too, I was stopped, albeit somewhat suddenly. At a full stop a few seconds before someone asstapped me... turned out to be an Attorney. lol.... no injury or car damage but I was freaking out too much/crying to get out of the car (not that I could, busy road) and it took 4-5 cops to figure out who's jurisdiction it was.)

I always look in the back mirror while starting to stop if suddenly now, to see if anyone is still coming at me, or to move up a bit if they don't seem to be able to stop as quick as me.

Holy shit, that's quite the damage to the back of your car...were you moving because of some sort of job opportunity? Sorry if its in another journal entry as to why you're moving...I'm kinda lazy at the moment...
