I'm confused. Where's the FA connection? Obviously they found out about this and suspended them, but where was this stated?

Much as I agree with the sentiment, I can't intellectually support injuring even dangerous slimeballs once they're rendered harmless. That's not to say that I would harshly judge someone who had a reason to take revenge and did... which hopefully isn't TOO hypocritical.

They didn't state it in the article, but the guy who molested the little girl and the little girl's mother are/were both FA members.

Yeah, they are. Even if they have girlfriends...preferably very stupid weakling girlfriends with no motherly instincts but have small children.

This statement, it bothers me. There are a number of people (since exonerated) who were convicted of child molestation because the kids said so and with no other evidence. (now, the guy in question confessed to one incident, but that doesn't mean that it should automatically be assumed there were more such on only the word of the child; testimony from relatives about other incidents should be important.)

Still, it's good to hear about people who do taht kind of thing getting caught and put away. :)

I can't even start to realize how this kind of things happen. I mean, I have no kids, but if I had one I'd probably disembowel everyone who would even dare to *think* about something like this.

I honestly hope the kid will be taken from her family and given to a better one.
There are women that are totally dependant to their men, to the point to ignore what happen to their children... is like a drug dependence, and I really think they should be re-educated to normal life like drugs'addicted are, before being allowed to get near their sons again.

Sadly, it's very common. Most sexual abusers are close friends and family members. Many women simply can't handle the amount of shit that comes with handling something like this. They don't want to believe that their loving Grampa, or their favorite uncle, or her beloved spouse, or her best friend is doing the most vile of crimes to their helpless children. They don't want to cause rifts in the family and lose a person they love out of their life. So they ignore it and pretend it's not happening, it's not really that bad, they don't know for sure, etc.

It's no excuse. It makes the women WORSE than the abusers, in my opinion.

I think you have something there about being addicted. That's a good point, and I think you are probably right.
