Absence and Global Communication
First, I apologize (as if that makes up for anything) about being negligent in my communication.
After battling with some disease, losing a loved one, losing some money and fighting traitors and criminals in my job, things are back to normal now.
So, as far as what I've been doing; It's been mostly work related. Recently, I was able to find that WebGL does work, and this is almost my dream medium. So, I want all of you to determine if you have WebGL support:
http://www.gocaco.com/webgl/test1/index.html
If the above test works (just click the Load button), you will see a partial room with a monkey head, ball, cone, and the word "Blender" in 3D. The controls are listed. You can also export your own files for viewing from blender 2.49b (I am working on the 2.57 exporter) If it does NOT work, it will tell you so. (Hint: Anyone with a 3D model commission/general request can ask for a TED file of their model for 'easy' previewing...)
You will need Firefox 4+, Chrome (gross), or any new browser. please refer to any online help to test it in other ways: http://imaginaryz.blogspot.com/2011.....webgl-yes.html http://imaginaryz.blogspot.com/2011.....te-chrome.html and finally: http://www.chromeexperiments.com/webgl
What this means is a somewhat standard way for me to deliver 3D content to people with more powerful GPU's, which enables me to make 3D vore like I like it. I've never taken the time to make videos of the stupid amounts of the stuff I've made, mainly due to the slow transition to a network storage device.
My flash project went by the wayside in favor of making OpenGL WebGL games instead. Although the web interface is highly restrictive and limited, it can reach a much broader audience than attempting platform compatibility, especially since WebGL WILL be supported on mobile devices (like iPhones, iPad, droids, whatev) Also, WebGL is 100% FREE for anyone to work with. It's a powerful open technology, but it is not for the lighthearted or beginners. It is important that the internet know about it and support it's development; If people know it exists and like it, it will become better for everyone. ( much like Fusion: http://www.iter.org/ )
Hopefully I can start work on something YOU all will be interested in; but it does take a lot of setup. I have some TED files with basic vore animations, but you have to play them manually at the moment.
Until next update...
