I was always into platformers more as a kid, but I still got my hands dirty with that game. Somehow I always ended up at level 30 by the time I finished Nimbus Land and only leveled HP up.

Heh for me I always wanted their levels equal... well now I do, back then as a kid I didn't care. So I have it planned out on how much EXP I should have before a boss and character obtain so everyone levels up at once. As for bonus stats I chose whatever I felt like as a kid but now I tend to choose whichever gives a more bonus at that level, which of course because of GameFAQs I know which levels those be.

And yeah as a kid I kind of have nostalgia for Super Mario Bros.3 on the SNES, played that with my bro and cousins all the time, but more so Super Mario World... but SMB 3 it is like... the graphics and music somehow just leave a stronger impact with me. I notice games that make me feel nostalgic, the graphics and music adds to that nostalgia. Sure SMW is great but doesn't make me feel nostalgic. Same with Zelda for SNES which we played alot as well, does not make me feel nostalgic.

Secret of Mana also makes me feel a bit nostalgic but I never beat that game. Zelda Link's Awakening for Gameboy, nostalgic... again because of the graphics, music and memories... ah...

Ah, shame. It is not that long a game as I remember. I felt long as a kid but I guess because I found it hard... today I find it rather easy, too easy. First party Nintendo games seem to lack difficulty settings, ya know? Only Metroid brings it but that was US made. Mario and Zelda lack such and that is a shame, Zelda games have become too easy and without a difficulty setting it stays that way.

I use to rent it a few times... as a kid I would rent the same game a few times, dunno why. I did manage to trade it off with someone who did own it, gave him like 2-3 games for it. But then my bro and I think me, thought it would be ok to lend it to his friend we visited once and well... turns out his friend then moves and we never see it again... wonder if it was on purpose.

I would rent a ton of games as a kid as well. Had one little video store where I lived. They were selling old games, sames ones I rented a million times, and I got it for my $5 allowance XD Never got to the secret casino, though. Should try that part again.

Thing about rented, I would find other files there, one that had the Super Suit and casino and such.

The other local kids in my area sucked XD I was the only one who made it very far, let alone got the suit and beat Culex. Same thing when I bought a used copy of Earthbound. All the files were level 20 and below.

Bwehehe. I got that about a month ago on my wii's virtual console. Still just as awesome as it was when I played it as a kid. ^^

They need to make a true sequal for the 3DS. Not that Paper Mario crap. I want Bowser in my party again xd. My buddy Ryuugin just did a lets play of it.

Well I dunno.. I think a remake but not sure about that either. I mean the graphics was part of the charm. The game seemed a bit dark rather than toony... I like it. If it were remade I would want the graphics the same, dark toned, but smoother I suppose and better animations. Also I would want it to be extended and have difficulty settings and all that. But yeah a sequel wouldn't be bad either just dunno how it can go on from that though.

That game was awesome, had tons loads of secrets hidden all over it.

Such a shame it was never released here in Europe (PAL).

Oh yeah, dude <3 That game was amaziiiiiing. Still holds a place as one of my favorite games ever. Nostalgia is all over it
