I find it difficult to get used to the camera angle o.o. That is my one complaint about the game, i can understand why they did it like that, but i wouldve preferred a more traditional approach. I have Origins preordered, still need to find the time to play Arkham City.

How you mean with the camera angle? I mean with combat it can be a problem as you want to avoid being snuck up on... but just walking around and such?

I really liked both game(X360, sorry), and yes the combat can make you easily feels awesome! At first, i saw the first arkham game like a mix of many subpar game, until i noticed this : this has to be the only game ever where i actually like to do stealthy stuff! Trust me it's not a small feat as stealth usually ruins game for me.

There is only one small black dot in the arkham game for me : in arkham city, i found the last confrontation with the riddler terribly anticlimatic. After all the hard work and the taunting from him, i expected more. But at least i actually got my hand on him this time i suppose!

As for Origins, frankly i don't know what to expect. The fact that's it's not the old team piss me off, but the new team seems competent so far. If it's good i'll be super happy. If it sucks, well at least we got two good games!

Origins looks good. I saw some videos. Gameplay seems the same and that is good to me. Gameplay > story or anything else. Course I want a good story as well but if I could only choose one... it would be gameplay. So I am sure I will enjoy it... it's just a friend pointed out to me how well it will be done. Mostly the stealth parts. Like if they either place the enemies in a certain way for you to take them out like in the first two Batman games or if they place them randomly and be like "good enough" and thus... yeah. So that is one of the only points to be wary of... otherwise the combat still looks good, hopefully not easier though... those Shock Gloves seem like it would make things easier.

I gotta agree with you, the gameplay is really the star in these games. If the story/dialog sucks...give me some good boss battles(no matter which kind) and all will be forgiven!

We're gonna see soon anyway i guess. With all the success the first 2 were, and with all the milking they got out of these after that, i seriously doubt that they'll take the risk of doing a game that's only 'good enough'.

I meant enemy placement. Like if they just dropped the enemies in the predator sections just all... randomly then that can hurt the predator moments. Rather than careful placement for you to flawlessly take em down. Something like that. But the combat still seems good, new enemy types of course for more challenge.

So yeah as much as I wanted to preorder for the lil bit of extra content... I don't have the money and I guess wait to hear back from others to see how it is as well. At least PS3 version gets that Adam West Batman, and that other Batman skin and 2 extra challenge maps... or was it 5 extra maps? Either way.... yeah.

As for gameplay... yes. I rather play a fun game that is just fun to control and do things and have a bleh story..... than have some AMAZING story but dull as hell gameplay. If I wanted a story I'd want a movie or just watch it... not play it. Games are about the gameplay. It just helps the gameplay to have an awesome story to go with it. But as I said, if I can only choose one... it would be gameplay. Just one of those, if you were on a deserted island scenarios. You know like if you could only eat 1 food, what would it be? I dunno. That is what I mean about choosing gameplay OR story.

So yeah... i love the combat and that looks to be the same and probably better so... I will enjoy the game. Just how dare they not tell us about finding Riddler trophies so close to the release date. We want to know if such is in there otherwise it would be a bit of a let down. Even if they replace Riddler with that Anarchy guy or whatever and you find his things... so long there are a lot of collectables to find is the point here. GTA V was a bit of a let down with lack of such to find 200 or something or even 300 of something... not just 50 of this or 30 of that like I think the game has but without that item glow like in GTA 4 it is hard to notice.

I just hope I can somehow get Origins soon enough.

I don't own any of them but I loved playing them when they came out. Really looking forward to Arkham Origins.
