How to train your dragon

I was quite surprised actually. I was looking for something to watch and came upon it sort of by chance.
Very glad I watched it. While I did have a lot of good laughs, I think the movie's strong side is having a well told and good story (script and pacing). I mean, it's not a very original story perhaps, but it's very compelling nonetheless.
I think there's been a lot of dragon stuff in media lately, but I've avoided most of it so for me this was rather fresh.
ps. I'm very happy that I can still watch family movies like this.
pps. I'm following The Event, and in one of the latest episodes they were really condescending towards the audience. I'm not going to spoil any plot, but a character smuggles something, and it's obvious when and where that character gets the "goods"... but they still felt they needed to do a flashback and show in painstaking detail how she "got the goods". I actually got bile in my mouth. I'm serious, I threw up a little in my mouth.
ppps. I also watched the series finale of Smallville. Yes, I followed Smallville. For shame, Spacehunk! ;_;

FA+

but its been out for about a year now.
but it was very awesome!
And yeah, that was a really good film. Everyone I saw it with enjoyed it, and that doesn't happen too often. ^_^
But after a while i was bored and decided to watch it. God... It was awesome. I bet it was amazing to watch in 3d while it was in theatres. I also loved that he lost his leg in the end. That is kinda so uncommon for cartoons.
Also, i recomend you to watch "Tangled".
