My life has thus far been unexpectedly less than tranquil. I was nearly forced to obtain my driver's license just as school ended. The day after victoriously passing my behind-the-wheel test, I had to fly to the beautiful state of Kentucky, only to immediately look for a car so I would be able to shuttle my brother back and forth from school. That did not pan out as well as anyone would have hoped, but I will have my vehicle sooner rather than later. Regardless, since I am staying in Kentucky with my parents, they have much more of a control on how I spend my time. Therefore, I have been dragged out shopping, sight-seeing and errand running, rather than writing like I would have liked. Now, I have come to find that my Grandfather passed away last night (save the sympathy, he was kind of a bastard) and so I will be forced to take my father's place as the "man of the house" until my Father returns from Mexico.
I don't think I need to outwardly say that the last two installments of "Sleeping with Ghosts" are going to be rather late. As eager (and sad) as I am to see this work end, I haven't had enough time or enough motivation to write. I hope that this doesn't upset anyone in anyway, and IT WILL GET DONE, I just may need a few weeks to start churning out words. I think that everyone can at least agree that more motivated work is better than a rushed ending, right?
Anyway, on to a more positive topic, I am thinking of writing a novel that I will publish as an ebook. I found a publishing group that makes the process simple (and FREE!), and many talented authors are beginning to get a successful start this way. I'm not really hoping that I will be a full-time author, but it would be nice to say that I have had my work published before. If anyone is interested in editing, please note me!
