I haven't quite figured this out yet Ty so maybe you can explain it. What is Iron art let alone Iron writing?

From what I've gathered it's a project to boost creativity and/or production, based on ideas that people suggest. Usually it's for a set number of topics, such as 50 or 100, and tends to be completed in a set amount of time. The works tend to be free because the purpose is more for the creative benefit of the artist in question.
Typically each artist/writer has certain rules for things they will or won't do, so as long as the suggestions are within those limits they get added to the list.

When one refers to an Iron Man contest, it means that it's a contest of endurance. Iron Artist and Iron Writer are the same principle, as far as I can tell.
