Dusted off my boots and hit the road.

Went to AC this year for the first time. Oh boy. Where do I start.
Only had to drive 5 hours and got to stay with a friend for free that lives about 20 minutes from the con so that was good, traffic and parking was a bitch but I guess thats par for the course for Pittsburgh, or so I am told. Fernando's kicks ass and should be visited by anyone who goes to that city, and there were no riots or murders as far as I could see.
Didn't go to a whole ton of panels, will probably hit more next year. Thankfully, I found my camera charger and was able to bring it along, though I was far too distracted by the sheer amount of furriness around me to take a whole ton of pictures.
I discovered that while my stop and snap technique works for scenery and people that aren't moving around too much, it doesn't work very well on hyperactive fursuiters trying to get as many hugs and high fives in as possible before the day is out. Next year I'm going to say fuck the candid camera approach and just ask them to pose, since I guess thats the whole reason they come out anyway. I got a few good pictures anyway, and hopefully if I can figure out how to pull stills from video on here I can throw some of that up too from the fursuit parade and the dance finals.
