Hello to everyone who reads these. : )
I just felt the need to update people on how my experimental Anthrocon went this year.
First let me say... I will DEFINATELY be entering the art show next year! I can't thank everyone there enough for their support and love for my pieces. All six of the pieces I made sold, and I think I got a nice base on how to price future works as well.
I'd like to say thank you and congradulations to :
Suzi:. I got a chance to meet her and her :
Renfox:. They were wonderful people and very kind and supportive with their suggestions and compliments.
I even got to meet the man who inspired me to enter the show in the first place. He had entered the show for the past few years with scroll work I could really only dream of one day making.
But looking forward I am going to try and choose and work on things earlier for next year. If anyone has suggestions for pieces or featured species or something of the sort please feel free to let me know. : )
Other than the art show I had a wonderful time around the dealers den and the artists alley. Such nice furs. I hope they all got home safe and sound and are doing well.
Anyway! Take care everyone! I'm in a good mood after this weekend, so I'll be trying to get things done. A gew requests I owe people, some planning for other real life things, and of course scroll work since AC really gave me confidence in that branch of art.
Thank you again to everyone I talked to and who supported me. I hope I get the chance to meet you again as well as any of you other nice people out there I haven't had the chance to meet.
P.S. As always, please keep Lady in your thoughts and prayers. She's still with us and doing alright. Of course she still has her accidents and is occasionally ornery, but she's not giving up so neither will I.

I wish i could have gone. I will go to a con one day... hopefully... though... the school board and/or PTA may not approve... fffff.
anyway, I'm gonna comment here for your latest journal as well. It is not an unmanly thing to cry for someone as close to you as Lady obviously is. If I remember correctly, even Achilles cried, this from a man so manly he could kill horses and men at a distance alike with just his battle cry! I'm not gonna tell you to be strong or anything like that because you already are being strong. just know that you are indeed in my thoughts and prayers.
And thank you for your wishes. That really means a lot to me. I am trying but like I said. it's hard some days. This week a tumor on her foot has swelled up. Usually it comes and goes but it's been swollen for two days now so I'm a little worried. I don't think we can take her to have it removed though because I'm not sure it would have the chance to heal. So All I can do is hope it goes down soon. Otherwise she's been doing pretty well. She eats still though not as much as we'd like. She still has accidents but we're vigilant and she's been very good as far as I know. But I digress. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers Servus. : )
