Writer's Block and personal troubles.

Hello everyone,
Sorry to have been so absent and inactive with my writings and works. It's been a bit of a hectic ride the past couple months.
1st, our plumbing finally crapped out in the basement, which led to dad and I having to smash up most of the basement floor to replace the pipes. This house is so old the pipes were all terra cotta! Well... Doing so destroyed our one working shower, so I've had to shower at work for two months. x.x Well finally the plumbing is replaced, the floor is filled in and the shower is being rebuilt tomorrow. So by the end of the week things should be back to normal in that issue.
2nd, While I had fun at AC, I managed to hurt the feelings of two very good friends of mine. So I've been a bit down in the dumps because of that... And since AC I've been trying to make things right and haven't really had much luck. v.v
3rd, Balloon season is throughout the spring summer and fall, and amidst these other life troubles we've had two balloon festivals to attend as well! This was a little bit of a nice escape and pick me up as somehow we avoided the high stress of Canton's high competition flights due to a rain out that weekend, and we placed 3rd in our other festival despite our plans for dressing up falling apart.
4th, This kindof ties into the second festival as my sister got asked to step in as a substitute in a baton group she used to twirl with in high school. Her groups won all of their enrolled events but my dad went with them halfway through the country to watch, leaving me in charge of a balloon glow that thursday. Of course I don't mind so much, it was rather fun, but dealing with people operating family equipment when I'm the one responsible for making sure it's not damaged... well that's a little stressful. ^^;
So now that I've vented a little to anyone who cares to read, I have a bit of a request. ^^; I want to get back into writing and editing my stories but I am having a hard time sitting down and doing so. I feel like I've taken enough of a hiatus and I really do want to write again. Anyone have any suggestions or comments? Also, I've added my tumblr to this account. Be advised, it isn't canon. It's just a fun little board I set up to RP sometimes and to look at cute pictures. ^^;

Yeah you're right. ^^; I can't thank you guys enough for being so patient with me. Though I still feel bad about taking so long, especially when this one guy on Sofurry makes the completely true joke about seeing my next post in a month. ^^;
Oh and yeah. I put up a tumblr. felix-ikida.tumblr.com It's fun there and I only have the one character so far. Perhaps I should make it a little more story relevant and put up character asks? XP
