Because I'm not even that good at art if you ask me.
I want to be a tattoo artist. I have been struggling just to get training for years.
I'm slow due to my health and being poor. Very slow. I make people angry for being so slow even though I always deliver eventually.
It's never brought me any joy and its never enough money to survive on with or without a job. With the job, I have even less time to work on what is owed.
My mind is cracking. I think I have had enough. Between this venue and a few others-- people don't even say hello to me anymore. Doesnt matter if I have owed them art for 5 days, its not "How are you doing" its "HAY WHERE IS MAH ARTS". Common courtesy for illustrators just doesn't exist.
I am going to toss up what I owe once it is done after some serious blood, sweat and tears and then I will be leaving FA and many other art sites for good. You might see me pop up on Deviantart but for the most part I think I will be sticking to trying to go professional with concept art by hanging only around Conceptart.org.
It's for the best. I'll be tallying the final version of my queue and posting it in my information within the week.
If anyone is even barely interested? My final five slots and then kaputski. Get 'em while they are warm. These are anything goes digital paintings, no background (objects/furniture okay) and the only thing I will not draw is cub crap. Guro? Fine. Vore? Fine. Watersports? I dont give a fuck. Butterflies? Have at you. Flat rate is $75. You have two weeks to throw down and I accept half payment before half after or all upfront. Whatever's clever. Each piece has a two week deadline or your money back.
Send me a note. If not, no biggie. But its been nice being here while it lasted.
