Transferrence of guilt and shame

I have a theory that the people who are most outspoken about their disdain for a subject, have a deep seated guilt complex about it. I do not know a certain fox at all. But from the way he behaves, I would almost wager money that he grew up in a devoutly christian lifestyle, and that he hates himself because he feels gay, and gets turned on by fursuit sex. It bothers him so much that he has to make a huge stink about it to distract people from his own personal internal conflict. A guilt and shame complex that the is fighting within. It's transference and projection of his guilt and shame onto other people. It's textbook. It happens with politicians, and televangelists all the time. "Do as I say, don't do as I do. " and In 5 years he'll either be having fursuit sex on webcam, or he won't be in the fandom anymore.

When someone has an internal conflict, in this case, guilt and shame about their sexuality, they feel they cannot modify their own behavior or solve their problem they become frustrated enough to project their guilt and shame outwards , so they feel like they are making progress on solving their personal problem by getting other people to modify THEIR behavior.

I was a raging homophobe in high school for that same reason, and I didn't get over myself until my early 20s. I feel sorry for anyone who can't walk away from that and live their life.
I also remember hearing the blood curdling shouts of anger by a AM right wing host named Savage. He reserves most of his venom towards gay people and got fired for one outburst.

Most furries in the fandom do not hide who they are while doing it--and if they do, they suck at covering their tracks in order to "troll" in the first place. Therefore--this isnt a trolling situation. This is just someone being a douche.

It's very sad that in a group of already unusual tastes, i.e. people who have a desire to be and/or dress up as an animal other than human, have so much intolerance...seems hugely hypocritical to openly and freely judge others.

If some guy in...I don't know, Straightfurs or something attacked me and tried to ToS all my shit, that shouldn't mean I call them all out, or say the creator of Straightfurs is a repressed homosexual or a religious bigot.
I made a comment in the Celanfur group, got attacked, the leader of the group encited the membership to "report this user" They did, I got suspended, simply for having adult material TAGGED as adult, simply because it was made of latex, and/or had a crotch zipper, while other people had similar content posted, and even copies of my images posted, and they were not attacked.

Nobody is required to accept your fetish, especially one you lay out in public view. You leave everything out there you subject yourself to criticism from all sides. Deal with it and move on.
