Ignore them :c It really blows.... It's frustrating when people do that kind of stuff. Keep your chin up. Regardless, we all started somewhere and so did Monoyasha. Not to mention everyone EVERYONE has their own style. Screw the people who are going to try and compare and make snide remarks. They're being immature... and I'm sure more than half of them can't even do the kind of work either of you do, or any suitmaker for that matter. Somehow a lot of people who aren't so crafty themselves for some reason feel they're above others and are deemed able to be a huge critic on those types of things...

lol yeah :3 no worries there's a load of us who deff have your back with things. I know how it is to get compared like that and it's frustrating. Makes me want to not do it, but I figure screw them. I love doing it and I don't see them taking chances and making something especially suit wise and risking getting criticized by jealous know-it-all idiots like them. They wouldn't be able to take it, unlike you and the rest of us who take that risk.

If its just on toothless and none of your other suits then I wouldn't pay much mind to those comments.

Its a character that a lot of people have a great love/ obsession for.
So they'll get all grumpy when its not portrayed to the perfect T they want it.
They aren't thinking of the person's style or experience, they just want it perfect no matter what.

Don't give it much thought.
And as long as you like it thats all that matters.

I honestly have no idea why they feel the need to compare your suit to Monoyasha's. That's an unfair comparison for most makers, even other professionals ._. And it's not like she's the only other person who's ever made a Toothless suit before.

Oh gawd heads are the hardest to due by far

i burned my poor fingers XDD

i ended up making stupid tails which were the ONLY easy thing. and even then i poked my fingers sooo many times lol
