I feel like if you're big time fur, this should be the main place to hang out.
But...I just can't. I honestly like Deviantart better.
Maybe it's because I was on dA way before I became a furry. Idk
This site...I just don't like it's message system, the obnoxious file limitations, the small community,..the rather mean community >>, etc.
I thought I would just post some fursuit work on here to get some attention for myself but....
I seriously get way more attention on dA for my furry-ness than I EVER have on here.
It just feel like you have to be an elite or well-known fur to make it on this site.
I thought since I was a furry artist my work would be more appreciated or at least NOTICED here. Guess not :/

I'm sorry the community itself has not been a good experience for you.
I came here after being on DA for quite some years and got a much much better response from here.
I guess its different for everyone though.
But my art art continuously going unnoticed in much smaller community and the fact that one of my very first fursuits was trolled to death kinda showed me the part of the community i'll be facing if I continue to post my work here.
But I digress. I'll still stay on here, but I doubt i'll ever really feel welcome.
there are also a ton of racism, sexism, xenophobia, transphobia, and homophobia there and the mods dont do anything about it... but here people actually get warned or suspended for it.... at least much more often than there. they also completely ignore harassment there.
And maybe I like it better since most friends I have AREN'T furrys, and hang out on dA.
I would love to have more furry friends, but this site has done nothing to help in that aspect.
All i've really gotten is trolling and the brush-off.
While I do feel more comfortable with expressing myself as a transgender on this site, it just doesn't shake off the fact that this place will always feel un-welcoming.
I've only been on this site for about a year, but you know what they say: first impressions are everything.

Like you said before furries seem to get a bit more attention on dA because its not a furry community even if it is bigger
But yeah.
A dog sticks out more in between a group of humans better than in between a group of dogs.
I'm sure you'll start getting more attention here if you keep posting :3
I'm the opposite, I have like, 3 times as many watchers on dA than here.
I just feel that as a fur, i should be more active on this site, and because I'm not, I kinda feel like the odd-ball of the community. ;n;
It's almost like dA is taboo for furs.
It's also most likely because most of my friends AREN'T furs, so I stay on dA where it's easier to follow them.
I hardly have any furry friends, and this site sure isn't helping that.
I will continue to post stuff on here, but I can't help but think I won't really get anything more than a cold shoulder from this community.
