An update to the nature of summer.
As I may have mentioned in my previous journal I was taking care of my grandmother, this is no longer the case. Three Mondays ago we checked her to a local hospital for 72 hour observation, which be came a 2 week stay. This stay ended last Friday when she died of renal failure.
We knew she was very ill and didn't have much time left and made peace with this before it happened.
I am doing fine.
I just have been busy with the funereal and my extended family, apparently I have two uncles, who'd of thunk it, and have been very busy. Tomorrow we have the internment and by the end of the week most of my relatives will be out of my hair and my summer is going to get back to some sort of normalcy.

Wow, you sure have a way of suddenly punching people in the face with the facts. I'll try to avoid leaving a cliched comment. It's good that at least some of you could have come to terms with it before it actually occurred, that is so much easier than a sudden shock. One good thing is that is takes a lot of the pressure off of future situations. Sometimes that sounds harsh to say but it is true, and all parties would agree. Here's to a comfortable attempt at moving on.
