We have a similar situation with my grandmother. A bad accident put my grandfather in the hospital and eventually a nursing home, whereas Grandma was mostly fine and now stays with us. Trouble is, she had a stroke in that time and now she still stays with us but is completely scatter brained, and she was already pretty scattered before that. And other trouble is that she herself refused to believe that she's limited, now. She keeps wanting to go home on the grounds that she doesn't need anyone to look after her, but unfortunately she does. She also thinks she's fat which is just ridiculous, especially if she were to compare herself to anyone else in the family. She's the only non-fat one among us. But she thinks he is, so we kind of have to harass her to eat. And every time you give her a plate of food, she gives you this look like "Oh jeez, you want me to eat? That's just ridiculous!" If he don't watch her, she tries to give her food to my mother's spoiled-rotten dog (I like spoiling dogs but they have to earn it with years of outstanding Dogness. I don't mean behaved, mostly just loyalty and amusement. And he's still rather new). When we visit her home to look after the place, since they have tons of outdoor cats to feed and other stuff to do, she works herself until she hyperventilates and then refuses to sit the hell down. "I'm fine, I'm fine." For a guy like me, that's just infuriating. I had to stay with her last summer at her house for three weeks which is deep into the country, so there's nothing to do but watch TV (thankfully there is cable) fiddle with whatever you brought with you, and watch the spiders grow. Her ribs were healing after being broken from the accident and she JUST wouldn't sit down and relax. She kept going out to feed the animals (just a dog and the cats. The dog's gone now due to an absolutely awful event), and kept bending down to pick up stray pieces of paper, loudly groaning the whole time. Whenever I'd tell her she needs to stop doing these things and lets her ribs heal, she'd make this kissy face at me to try and "change the subject" which, I'll just say it, made me want to punch her. As you can see, it's really not in my nature to care for people. Anyway, I don't mean to say that any of this is more hectic than your situation, just something I could mildly relate to. I can respect anyone willing to look after a relative in such a way, and it's obviously common to be annoyed with it in some form. But how you feel is irrelevant so long as you're still doing it.

So about your trade thing, I barely know you and your lack of visibility here would do nothing to network me to any kind of added popularity, but it might be something I could do for you, assuming it's still on the table. If you do indeed want a rat then I'll be in good shape as I feel I'm good with rats. Although I've really downplayed my role as a skunk in the last couple years, so I'm not sure what you would do on your end. Maybe I'd put you to the task of doing an anthro squirrel, and trying to make him cute. Many squirrels around here, you know, suck. Mostly because there's some unwritten rule where any and all rodents must be ruined by being a large breasted female involved with some stupid kind of porn. Also before I did anything for you, I really should do that drawing for my good buddy Dex. He won my little free art contest and I really need to get in gear with that. Maybe I can finish it this weekend at the hotel. We've also been planning to move so we've been a little all over the place, getting ready. Don't get me wrong, despite all these things I'm saying to imply that I won't have time after all, what I have in an uncertain schedule, I make up for by having absolutely no life. IE, I have no job, no girlfriend, and no friends. So time can certainly be found. So if you do want to do a trade with someone, you can discuss it with me further.

I would still be interested in doing trade. What sort of squirrel would we talking, eastern grey, western grey, red, flying or scaled?

I tend to like them brown with white undersides (or front sides if it's anthro). The eyes are bright and alert but not ridiculous, their overall look being innocent, handsome and likable. Sort of cute, but I don't mean like chibi. Cute as in, looks like a nice guy. He would also be clothed. He can be doing nearly anything you want him to be so long as it's not porn related or playing Call if Duty.

So then now I need to know what you would like to have done for you. I suspect rat but it could be whatever you want. So long as it's not having sex or playing Call of Duty. Hopefully I can do whatever it is you need. Give me more info when you can.

So, lets see not porn or Call of Duty, how about a rat getting a BJ, while playing Call of Duty. Joking of coarse, but you make a NOR statement not NXOR statement, so you didn't explicitly say no to both ate the same time. I suppose, you should know I think I am funny, but only in convoluted ways. A rat would be fine, but I don't have my heart set on it. I would like to give you a lot of freedom on this, since I think it more interesting to let people make there own stuff and I do enjoy your art. If you need more specifics though, I would like to see a anthro doing somethings rather appropriated for there species, for example a rat could be enjoying a sandwich, he just scored from a dumpster. YOu might be interested to know that, most furries would not follow this it all since most species aren't totally sex craving maniacs.

Rat, Sandwich, Dumpster. I'm most worried about drawing the dumpster, but I think I can make that happen. I agree with that by the way, I like to see anthros doing their natural things. Makes them more interesting as characters. All I'd like to know now is if the rat is your character or just any rat? If it's your character I'd need some info and if it's any rat then no problem, I'll just draw any rat.
