I'm just a simple country tanuki that wanders across FA looking at pics and reading journals. Whenever I feel like it, I sometimes leave a comment about my opinions about the said pics/journals. I've seen a lot of both good and bad, but there is one thing I've seen that really makes me grit my teeth.

This is the Veggie Dogs. I have seen a number of them, and they make me question the talent of certain artists. All the Veggie Dogs are the same yet differ only in gender and coloring, with names like Cabbage, Broccoli; and Carrot... How very creative. -.- It was like someone was passing a stencil around and using it time and time again.

I recently learned that these Veggie Dogs were in fact ripped off of a fur called Allan that was banned from this site nearly two years ago, and that these clones arisen last winter from the need to cause drama when the pictures showing Allan getting bludgeoned, shot, or torn to pieces were forced to be removed from the site since a higher power deemed them threatening in nature. People wanted to still fire bullets at this Allen without getting into trouble, so these tracings were born.

To all you artists that draw these Veggie Dogs, these... forgeries... then you are nothing but petty imitators that shame the very hands you create with. If you have to take another person's design, trace it, and call it an original work; then you hold far less value than the promissory note I have in my pocket. The gods gave you all the talent to create, and you squander it by creating counterfeits? Disgraceful!
