Have you ever been in such a rut of "I can't draw"-ness that you just tried to draw and draw and draw to get yourself out of it? XD
It sounds pretty odd, but I've just been in this weird block for the past few weeks, and every time I pick up a penil and doodle even the slightest little skeleton for a picture that could be, I feel like it could be a lot better.
The point of this depressy, lame journal is to say that I'm sorry for being so inactive (like srsly, I never do anything on here, it's so lame. :c), and I shall try and get over my uber-fail art block of death soon. Hopefully after my tests. 8D Right after testing, we're going on a trip to Washington (which should prove interesting... xD) so that will give me plenty of time to finish the rest of the pages for the current story thread... no, I haven't forgotten it. xD I still am intent on finishing that durn thing. >c MUST DO EETT.

Watch some old show you haven't seen since you were a kid and draw lots of fanart for it.
I'm feeling that way for Kingdom Hearts right now.

AND IT SUCKS.
It could indeed be because you have tests and all, and that your brain is like, HEY, MORE IMPORTANT THINGS CAME UP; WE'LL WORRY ABOUT DRAWING LATER. xD
And though it might seem hard, I'd say do just what you are doing--keep drawing no matter WHAT. Just, GOGOGO! It's hard, especially when you've got to get past the not-so-great doodles to even get out the art block (Though honestly I doubt these sketches you mention are bad in the first place ololol), but you'll start to make headway again sooner! :D And inspiration might strike while you just bust out as many sketches as you can, and you'll get your muse back. :3
Last time that happened to me, I felt like I came out with a little more understanding of my style and everything. xD;; Which probably sounds weird lol. xD;;;; Though just last night I tried drawing, and I seem to be slipping into another rut myself. 8'C
