Also after a week of dicking around I cannot make Gmod work, I wasted 10 bucks.

Like the first time I loaded the game I got "Garry's Mod: hl2.exe - Application Error. There was an error in <hex address> at <hex address>. The memory could not be 'read'"

I looked it up, and I did everything steam powered suggested. None of it worked, and now I get an error about mss32.dll sometimes, when I try and load garry's mod.

TF2, HL2, and Portal all still work, so I don't have a damn clue why Garry's Mod won't work. My drivers are all up to date, Directx is too, so I mean.. it's so weird.. because you'd think with everything else working, it'd be ok..

THAT'S NOT COOL!! I assume you've tried to uninstall/reinstall it? Man, that's WEIRD. I don't understand how everything else works, but not Gmod. I mean, it's just content from everything else piled into one game ... If this was Gmod 9, I'd assume you'd be getting errors because you didn't have CS:S or something ... But 10 only requires a source game, not HL2 and CS:S ... hmm ...

Well I reinstalled, and I tried verifying the GFC files. I also tried installing HL2, so that that content would be available. I just don't know. I can't figure out what is causing it :c

Nothing I make in Gmod can really be qualified as "furry". Maybe I'll make another journal post later with links to pictures or something. I'm not sure how many people would like glamour shots of electrical wiring, though. Unless, y'know, you get off to that sort of thing.

I used to use Pidgin quite a bit, but it had issues with file transfers and direct connections over AIM. Made most of the people on my contacts list rather irritable, so I switched back. I miss Pidgin ..

I don't think my computer could handle a vast universe in Gmod. It has enough trouble trying to render a big-ass wired 7-segment display clock, haha. Oh, go ahead and add me! I'm Zombiecat on Steam. I think.
