Captain America! (no spoilers)

MW and I went to see Captain America today, after we had breakfast at IHOP (love those coupon deals!).
I was mightily impressed with the movie, and even more impressed with the great soundtrack. Both are very well done and I especially enjoyed Tommy Lee Jones. He's plays a gruff commander extremely well. I was hoping that Chris Evans was able to do a good job as the Cap and not a retread of his Johnny Storm/Human Torch schtick. He passed.
You need to know that MuscleWolf is teaching me all about the Marvel cartoons and comics. I was a DC fan for a long time, and then just gave it up and went to SciFi/Fantasy/STNG+ paperbacks.
So every time Marvel puts out a movie, we go to see it on one condition: That MW does not jabber through the story, telling me what they "got right" from the comic, and what they "screwed up." And then we both watch the movie closely for the cameo performances by Stan Lee!
Then we go out to the car and take a long drive so MW can TELL ME "what they got right from the comic, and what they screwed up." He's like a kid, ready to burst to tell me! Heck, he knows more about comics like I know about scholarly research of Scripture. But his is easier to handle. *grins*
One thing stumped me, though: the "before" Steve Rogers and the "after" Steve Rogers:
were they both played by Chris Evans? If so, how did he go from wimpy to homina homina STUDLY??!!??

Her's a good one that I found. . . it's towards the bottom of the article.

Oh and fun fact, SyFy played both of those cheesy as hell Captain America tv movies to hype up this one.
IT WAS AWESOME.
CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE AVENGERS NEXT SPRING!!!!
the before and after was accomplished through the use of state of the art CGI just like Weird Al used in his "perform thus way" video
Moosie knows dese tings!

Besides, does'nt Chris Evans get taller as well as MUCH more studly?
If I could choose between a buff "homina homina STUDLY" guy who's less courageous, less thoughtful, and less driven or a "wimpy" guy who's more courageous, thoughtful, and driven, I'd take the "wimpy" guy. Give me the substance. Everyone else can have the shell.
But I was more interested in the technique on HOW they made such a drastic change in someone's anatomy. Being a past bodybuilder, I KNEW a person could not develop THAT MUCH MASS in such a short time. Being an "artistic morpher," I could see how that would work on a still picture, but a movie picture? Without it looking artificial (like the latest Weird Al video)? I did not know that the studio industry had gotten so technical that they could actually morph a video scene. Now THAT is truly astounding.
