Just for future reference, what is YOUR opinion of MLP?
I, personally, can't stand it, but that's mainly because I've been desensitized to it from all the MLP Propaganda that was spread on TV through the late 90's to about 2004, if I had to guesstimate.

I like the current series. It's a fun show, and a good one. The only other MLP I'd seen before was the Pony Tales series and the occasional G1 episode they'd throw in with it when that series was being shown on Disney way back when. Not terrible, but everything since had been pretty much forgettable to me. But the new series is definitely worth checking out, and if you like it, awesome, if you don't, then that's fine too. :)

I've seen it... (Against my will, but still...) And in my opinion, it blows.

Haha, never judge something by what's said on the bowels of the internet (4chan). Truth be told, mlp: fim has the best fanbase I've ever seen. Some of the thing I've seen them as well as the show developers do is incredible.

but, i didn't judge it because it was said in 4chan... you can see it in DeviantArt, here on FA too... because it was said in 4chan it doesn't mean it was born there or it's fake, that kind of people exist XD threads like that are the reason why they banned any MLP:FIM content in 4chan. Also sites like ponychan, ponybooru, and more boards XD; people post almost exactly the same comments in those imageboards, there is porn of my little pony, people go crazy about it, and not only in 4chan, it was shown that people want a Sonic sexdoll, so why not a pony? it could not be now, but it will happen (fluttershy realdoll XD hahaha ).
Also yes, it has a great fanbase, but like all the big fanbases it has a good group of people and a bad group of people.

No matter what the subject, there'll always be a negative side to it. I'm just saying not to judge the mlp fanbase based on these comments, because the good far outweighs the negative in this case.

i know, i thought the same, but Sonic was like something that may have given winks of adult things, Tails graving Sarah's boobs in the Sonic anime movie (i know it's a joke, but let's put it in this field) or mostly the character Rouge... XD , if she isn't a fanservice, i don't know what is lol XD maybe the reason why the MLP:FiM feels different is because how quickly it got to that point, it was kind of shocking how quickly people got the perverted feelings with a show that doesn't actually give winks of "look at my ass it's sexy".

While it is true that 4chan is not the only place you find it, you kinda missed my point. You can't decry a fanbase because a segment of it is depraved. Everything, and I mean Everything, is perverted in one shape or another on the internet.

If you go around trying to avoid the extreme elements of the fanbase, well I'm sorry, but you're in the wrong medium. Also speaking as a brony... those people scare us too.

I wasn't saying "all of the pony fans are sick fucks" because i'm a fan of the show too, i'm just pointing out that how far and extreme a part of the fans turned the cute and inoffensive show into something perverted, because you said it, the show is not perverted, is the people (in this case internet) who turn it into something perverted.
And i don't like it, i don't like pony perverted things, and it's kinda wrong what you said because, i'm this medium, but i could not like some part of it, if you don't like gore, you don't step in that place, if you don't like scat/watersport, you don't go there too, if i see that drawing ponies will make a lot of people happy but also jerks who will not appreciate it, i prefer to just not draw it and avoid any kind of other problems, it's my choice after all :/
