I.N.S. ~ Inconsequential Nonsensical Scribblings
So while Steph and I were enjoying ARTAPALOOZER... err... ZA (cause we're not losers for spending our Saturdays together sketching furry thingies and having conversations about critter anatomy, coloring, art mediums, appropriate nipple pointiness, or the historical inaccuracies of children's movies and such) and her roomie comes in and is all "I made amazing, delicious cheese dip! You must have it now!!"
And we're all "Hooray for cheese!!"
Especially me because I hadn't eaten anything since 10am that day and it was like 8pm or something. So we're snackin' down awesome queso... the kind made with that Mexican cheese that's white and full of jalapeno goodness? Yeah. The good stuff. Only this cheese was SINISTER and CONNIVING!! We didn't see it coming. We just.... didn't see it coming.
The nexy day we were all feeling the vile effects of the sinister cheese. Oh cruel cheesey mistress! You were so tasty, we never thought you could be so cruel! I think Steph and her roomie had it worse off than I did, but I'm very tough when it comes to any kind of bacterial EVIL in foods. Perhaps it is my natural scavenging talents that allow me my cast iron tummy? Regardless we were all icky-sicky-gut-gurlgy-praying to the porcelain goddess for mercy ill the next day. It was very boo.
Would I consider eating that cheese again?... Let's just say I'm a glutton for punishment. But perhaps next time I'll make it myself. :P
Art I'm currently working on:
1 Commission for inked anthro dragon
1 Commission for couple's inked color sketch
1 Conbadge in acrylics
All commissions will be kept anonymous until after delivery and if there are scans, they will be posted after Christmas. Don't wanna spoil people's presents now do I? :D

no, serious. did you ever find out which part of the dip was spoiled? somehow I can't believe it was the cheese itself..unless it's the "fesh cheese" variety (whatever this is called in english). maybe you three didn't take on the jalapenos well.
anyway, hooray for cast-iron stomachs!
I know what you mean about 'fresh' cheese. It's not like cottage cheese or ricotta or anything like that. This stuff is soft... but not as soft as butterkasse. You can't spread it at room temperature. But it does contain more moisture and more butter fat so that it melts at lower temperatures and makes a smooth creamy consistency that works well as chip and vegetable dip. Think of it as being a bit firmer than kochkase... or like velveeta if you've ever come across this American 'cheese' abomination. :P
your description reminds me of the consistency of a camembert's belly. sounds nice. maybe they are somewhat related?
whatever. :) so the dip was party leftover. I hate to think through the possible things that may have found their way into it.
memo to self: never eat leftovers from foreign parties. ;)
Mine is still bothering me to this day. Maybe you ate so much of the cheese covered bacteria that it cancelled out your achiness? Lol, funny thing is I ate much less than anybody and got the worst of it.
I had to get some prescription medicine from the nurse here on campus. >: P
I personally think it's just my years and years of experience with fighting off the urge to purge. XD Seriously, I have never puked easily. Plus, I take multivitamins and echinacea regularly, which help maintain a healthier immune system.
Granted I had... ~ahem~ other stomach-sickness related issues for a couple of days, but nothing like what you guys had. I'm sorry to hear you've been so ill, honey. But I did save you a little of my steak chili I made the other day so when you're feeling up to it I'll bring it over.
Hope you feel better soon, hon!!
