How to Train Your Dragon Arena Show

You may already know that the folks who did the Walking with Dinosaurs arena show are doing a new show for How to Train Your Dragon. It will again be an arena show with the dragons portrayed by both elaborate costumes as well as giant sized animatronics like the life sized T-Rex in the Dinosaurs show. If you haven't seen their previous arena show, the dinosaurs were all very impressive looking and I'm looking forward to seeing their dragon creations. I believe the How to Train Your Dragon show will be more story focused and will loosely follow the movie as opposed to the docu-drama type show they did for Dinosaurs.

The show premieres in Melbourne in March and then tours around Australia and New Zealand. They say it will tour the US next. Here's hoping that San Francisco is one of the cities early in the US tour. I want tickets NOW!

I missed Walking With Dinosaurs and I kicked myself for that...lack of money and such. This I will make a special effort!!

Hope you get to see their dragon arena show whenever it lands here on the west coast. I'm really looking forward to it myself, though I think we're going to have a bit of a wait. If it opens in Australia in March 2012, then it may well not get to our cities until like 2013. That's a long time to wait.
And yes! I'll be at RF next month! Are you doing any talks this time 'round? We should meet up for dinner or something if nothing else.
No, I am not lining up for any talks this year. I figured that what I did last year was about all I could do. I really would not want to repeat them. And just a talk on general things in Alaska would really not fit too well. I do plan on being more active in the suiting events and such. I was a newbie at it last year and I am a bit more seasoned this time! I am sure dinner would certainly be do-able! }:=)
