The Creation of a New World
Alrighty, because I'm awesome and pretend people read these, I'm gonna keep doing them. XP
Anyways, I've begun work on a new, longer length, original story. It takes place in a currently undisclosed location, and is a study in the existence of humanity. Vague, no? Anyways, I have three main plot ideas for it, inspired by various (and I mean VARIOUS) other works. The plot ideas are as follows:
- Love story between poor male and upper-classish female
- Love Triangle between three men, (an upper class department store owner, a drug dealer, and a prostitute)
- A gang member trying to free himself from the bonds of his gang
The Cast (In order of appearance):
Alexandra Chase (A Lioness)
Tobias Johnson (A Bull-Terrier)
Reginald (Reggie) Clinton (A Tiger)
Daniel Demont (A Doberman)
Stephanie Andrews (A Great Dane)
Johnny Cuff (A White-Tail Buck)
(El) Salvador (An Alligator)
Eros Riem (A Ram)
Debra Cuff (A White-Tail Doe)
(Note that all names are purely of my creation and not intended to represent any one person. Even El Salvador, or "The Savior" in Spanish was chosen for a purpose.)
Anyways, I've got the whole damn thing planned out and have started working on the first section, and have a couple of questions for ANYONE who might read this (Seriously, PM me, Shout me, IM Me, Email me, I just want feedback on these questions, because I'm having a hard time deciding between them):
1) I am hoping to turn this into a screenplay at some time, either for the Theater or the Big Screen (although the final adaptation would probably not be furry). I'm wondering whether you think that I should start with a regular story structure, or just write it in a screenplay format?
2) There will be a scene late in the story that could potentially involve several cameos. Of course, at this point I don't expect anyone to answer these questions until they've had a chance to read the first parts of the story, but if you had the chance, would you be interested in a cameo appearance?
Lastly, there will not be yiff in the main body of the story. I DO plan on writing yiff scenes that could be interjected into parts of the plot, but I'd rather be able to stray from the story a bit in writing them, and not have to stop in the middle of a section to include a sex scene. That said, I'm hoping to please all comers with both m/m, m/f, and possible f/f scenes.
Idk, it being my first real original work, I'd like feedback on any of these issues. Doberman, out.
-DD
Oh! And also, to fans of my RR story(-ies), I AM working on the second part of my Chronicles series, but mostly just as a change of pace from the story listed above. I'd expect the next part out in early January, hopefully, especially since I have next week off and nothing to do but write, draw, and play video games.
