Abuse, neglect and liberation

Today I was reminded of one of my adventures in Sarnia, it made me sad, happy and fuzzy feeling all at the same time.
I know vigilantyism is often frowned upon, but morally some times you just gotta take it upon yourself to do something about a bad situation.
This is poorly written out, maybe Ill make a simple comic about it in the future, its definatly my favorite and proudest moment in the past decade. So please, enjoy some copy pasta from the OF forum.
We lived with this crazy bitch, my best friend and I for 3 months while her hubby was in jail so we could help pay the bills so they could keep the house. She kept taking in animals from the pound and of kijiji and would not feed or take care of the dogs.
She had a small dog that was with her sense her late child hood and actually managed to a least share her food with it as she was to lazy/ stupid/ broke to get dog food.
So one day a pit bull she got from a fighting ring accross the boarder. He was used as a bait dog and was in terrible shape and needed vet care despratly.
So after she stole a bunch of our stuff and casued the death of one of the kittens she took in, and trying to take the pit bull to the humain society to be put down for snapping at her loved little dog over the food, we decided that was enough. This pitty was nothing but sweet, never bit nipped growled and got along great with all the dogs. But of course as any animal when starved, its survival over all. So we moved out, my friend and I hatched a plan to save the animals in the house. (When she took him to the cops they actually did take them to the humane society to lock the dog up, but the cops kye broke in the door. If there is a higher power, that was your sign to intervine)
My friend went and got some oxys, witch the bitch we lived with was hooked on, and we went over. I ducked by the back fence out of sight while my friend knocked on the door, presented the pills and was quickly whisked upstairs so that bitch could get her fix. When she got up there as planned my friend showed her some new music so there was some noise cover. As soon as I saw the shadows up stairs I creeped in threw he kitchen to the basement door witch woulden't shut, so she had placed a book shelf infront of it to bar him down there. It had a bucnh of crap o it and I was in a hursh with the adrenalin flowing for fear of being caught. I tried to move it quitely and fast with no luck and quickly gave up and just tossed the book shelf over. Samson ( the pitty) flew out the door with me right behind him. I was to freaked to leash him up so we both just bolted out the same door by the kitchen. He was such a good dog he even ran by my side for 4 blocks and didnt fuss or whine when we ducked into another of our friends places.
Samson is now happily living on the Sarnia reserve called Cettle Point with a kind old native lady and 4 other rescued dogs, luckily she had the space heart and money that was needed to give that old broken pitty a happy ending. *tear*
The small dog shes had sense chld hood we left sense he was at least loved and taken care of decently. The remaining kitty sadly had to be left behind, it was in her room at the time of the break in. A mixed mediumn sided dog part lab part.. something had slipped out when I first opened the door and was picked up by some one we had waiting outside just incase.
^.-.^ Fond memories of dark times.

No animal deserves treatment like that.
