After a hard day at work i came home. spend my day lazying about untill the frighten screams from my mother beckoned meoutside to where i dash(with no pants on) to find my dog huntched over a smal baby opossum.. I got my dog away fetched my favorit soft towel and curled thesmall bleeding animal into it. For the last 2 hours or so i have spend, holding loving and peting this passing creature. To whom i felt a bond form and break just as fast. So no i sit here tears running down my face as i fght to get the sight fo his lifeless body from my mind. It may be a long sleepless night,or a night full of nightmares. But at least I know i helped a small uncared for animal find comfort and happiness in its last few hours of need. Never in my life have i heard a opossum pur as it snuggled into my hold. And i have had more than on opossum in my lifetime.... How many people can say that?
