Happy why the F is this a holiday Day

Really, I understand that there's no really correct way to handle tragedies, but..
I don't think "Anniversary" is a good term for it, it's become synonymous with celebrations, nostalgia or popular events, hence seems like an official sick joke.
Plus there's been feasts, parades and fireworks displays scattered around today, even in unrelated countries.
I would figure maybe it's a type of defiance for those closer or maybe how us being thousands of miles or kilometers away don't get it as much, but still doesn't seem right.
On top of that is that mass attacks go on in many countries monthly, even weekly.
Aaaaand don't get me started on the war profiteers and their helpers, big Media.
Just seems almost like they don't want people to heal and continue with their lives. =/
Also a bit additionally disturbed by the fact it's been 10 years, felt like 4 or 5...
Just needed to see if anybody else thought that's weird too.
On more locally related stuff, I hope to post more stuff soon but at least a few days away, since now's not the time for it.
Been ill, busy & repairing practically everything, and this week sure keeps things depressing.

I haven't heard about feasts and parades or anything. I could understand families getting together, but things beyond that, and other countries doing anything sounds confusing too.
I think it's kinda hard to be patriotic today since it really was just a terrible day, and it brought on a war which caused even more deaths and injuries than what we experienced that day, and ever since people have given Muslims and even people not actually related to the middle east a hard time. So celebrations here seem kind of weird to me too, but if it genuinely makes anyone feel stronger or more together or whatever then I guess they'd go celebrate that.
Eventually it'll just sort of be a day people pass by though. Days like this are new to a lot of people and eventually everyone adjusts, I guess?
Are you a Weeaboo? And don't respond back cutesy. I am asking a serious question.
Like the only disasters that really matter are the ones that occur in their own country.
......of course, this is just me also ranting with no faith in humanity, so... take it with a grain of salt >>
Like how December 7th is.
